Dragon Age: The Veilguard – Companion Gift Locations

Q: How do you get the gift?
A: When you recruit a companion, their town becomes available to explore. At the main areas (where the Eluvian is), you will find the Faction vendor.
When you access that vendor, there will be a gift tab where you can purchase a gift for the companion that represents that Faction (i.e Shadow Dragons – Neve)

Q: I don’t see the vendor in Dock Town anymore. What can I do?
A: This might be because you have chose to save Treviso instead of Dock Town. In order to get the gift, you will need to complete “The Black Emporium” quest, that way you will have access to the items you might have missed from the faction vendor.

Q: Why should I bother with the gifts?
A: They’re a nice extra to do on your journey through the open spaces, plus each gift increases the bond with the afferent companion, which will eventually help you at the end game.

In Dock Town it is very easy to find the faction merchant as it just right before leaving the faction area.

After you’ve purchased the gift, return to the Lighthouse and meet Neve in her room then give her the gift.

If by chance you don’t know of the gift prior to fighting the first dragon, you will need to do “The Black Emporium” quest (which unlocks post A Cobbled Swan) and you’ll need to purchase the gift from Xenon instead. At Xenon you will also find Harding’s gift, so pick that as well while you’re there!

In Treviso Canals it is also very easy to find the faction merchant as it just across from where Teia & Viago usually stay.

After you’ve purchased the gift, return to the Lighthouse and meet Lucanis in his room then give him the gift.

The faction merchant is straight ahead as you go up the stairs from the Eluvian.

Once you’ve purchased the gift, return to the Lighthouse and meet with Bellara in her room to give her the gift.

After recruiting Emmrich, head back in Necropolis where the Star–the bell was and talk with Vorgoth to access the merchant menu.

After purchasing the gift, return to Lighthouse and meet Emmrich in his room to give his gift.

After recruiting Taash, you need to unlock The Hall of Valor in order to find her gift.
Reach the faction merchant and acquire the gift.

After you’ve acquired Taash’s gift, return to the Lighthouse and go to Taash’s room. Give Taash the gift.

You are required to have all the companions recruited and have Hossberg Wetlands unlocked.
Travel to the merchant in the faction area and here you can acquire a gift for Davrin.

Once you’ve acquired the gift, return to the Lighthouse and go to Davrin’s room to give him the gift.
